Artist Statement
“For me the horse has always symbolised freedom and bravery... In this illustration I thought it was a great opportunity to break free, do something different and be more expressive in the shapes I chose to create this piece, be bolder in my use of colour and allow the piece to flow as organically as possible with no real constraints other than the four sides of the canvas.”
