Artist Statement:
For me, the snake as an animal evokes a sense of mystery and boundless imagination. Its body, reminiscent of ancient serpentine decorative patterns and labyrinths, inspires thoughts of exhibition spaces that unfold like the winding, undulating form of a snake.
It feels like a smooth, streamlined thread left behind in a mysterious dimension of time and space, inviting people to trace it from head to tail and experience the changes of life. They can meander through its twists and turns, piecing together and editing their own memories along the way.
In essence, the snake resembles a story—one that is both disorienting and cyclical, like a relationship, an exhibition, or the passing of a year.
